Band Enlists Life Coach David O'Connor
The Nation returned to live public performance action on December 14, 2007 at the Lynchian Laughing Lizard Lounge in Alexandria, Virginia, USA and reunited with long-time Sherpa guru David O’Connor. He now ranks as Life Coach and will be in charge of all manner of Divine ejectamenta. The band publicly thanks David for his tireless contributions to their success and looks forward to his mystical journeys and yearnings retreats.
David, you are indeed divine. And a nation unto yourself. Thank you, blessed world carrier.

Band Travels for Free Turkey and Beachfront Hassles
A holiday in the islands. Sounds divine. Unless you’re the lead singer of a rock band and your leather pants are stuck to your legs in the nuclear heat of the Caribbean. Nice tan, Marika. Then you can do the traditional thing. Like grilling a side of beef over an open fire. Think walnuts instead of chestnuts. Or, how about a trip to the farm. How puritanical. Complete with all manner of gunplay. Maybe you prefer an omen of Christmas. So dress like Jesus and entertain your mom and dad with stories of the Apocalypse.

Nonetheless, a RIP SWR Stage Combo sent signals from the other side to bassist Todd as its LED power indicator illuminated red. Singer Marika claims to have seen it. Drummer Bob says it wasn’t plugged in. Divine Intervention or Divine Invention? You decide.
October 27, 2007 – Stars Turn Out For Nation Showcase, Chicken and Wine
Marika Prince Introduced As New Lead Vocalist and Playpen Moderator
Though it wasn’t on the agenda, Divine Inspiration electrified the three original members of the Nation during their participation in the 1st Annual Estrogen Conference and Sensitivity Training held this past June at Vassar College and sponsored in part by Martha Stewart Inc. The divine insight? A female lead singer might propel them into the glitzy world of heavy MTY rotation. An international cast of VIPs assembled at Nation headquarters for an afternoon of rock mayhem and ribald revelry to welcome chanteuse Marika Prince belt out Nation favorites. Afterward, the A-List crowd was treated to a mixed grill of prime encased meats and buckets of beer. No injuries were reported.
